BRITE is seeking volunteers ages 15-20 to participate in a REALITY PARTY FOR PARENTS on 4/1/23 in Thousand Oaks. A Reality Party is a safe and mindful staged simulation of a house party created with the intention of shedding light on teen party culture dangers, and to start discussion with parents and adult allies in the community to create healthy change. The Reality Party will feature sensitive topics such as underage drinking, drug use and discussions on drinking culture, domestic abuse, and sexual assault. Casual dress is perfect and no experience is necessary to participate.
The time commitment is on 4/1 from 9am - 6:30pm, with a break for lunch. Lunch and snacks will be provided. One zoom meeting will be required in advance of the event. You MUST be able to commit to volunteering the full day to participate.
