Help create a positive donation experience at Red Cross blood drives!
The American Red Cross collects and distributes blood nationally. We offer hope; preventing and saving lives in critical times. We are looking for new volunteers who have like-mind values and a desire to support our Blood Services (Biomedical) Team.
We are looking for someone who finds values in volunteerism! Who enjoy problem solving, and connecting with others! We are also looking for an individuals with non-profit, management or training experience, who may want to help lead a team.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Engagement Team Member: Will work with staff to welcome new volunteers and provide training of Red Cross systems, values and Culture.
- Blood Donor Ambassador: Work a minimum of 1 blood drive per month (across Ventura County) as a greeter.
- Desire to learn and willingness to support the American Red Cross mission.
- Ability to display the utmost professionalism, respect for diversity and inclusion, and communication skills.
Time Commitment
- One 6-hour shift per month. You choose the blood drive you volunteer at!
