The 2025 Homeless Count and Survey will be conducted in the early morning hours (6am-12pm) of Wednesday, January 22nd and the County of Ventura needs your help!
The Ventura County Continuum of Care and County of Ventura are seeking community volunteers to help us conduct surveys with people experiencing homelessness within all 10 cities and the unincorporated portions of the county.
Criteria for volunteers:
- 18 years or older
- Ability to walk around the community
- Have a cell phone or tablet to use for the survey
Volunteers will go out in pairs and conduct surveys on their mobile devices (cell phones or tablets). Volunteers will be assigned a jurisdiction, paired up with other volunteers and will be deployed to specific areas to survey unsheltered persons. Volunteer training will be provided.
