Dear Volunteers,
We are seeking support to help us prepare for our Fathering Celebration, taking place on June 7 & 8, 2023!
We are excited to provide each "fathering" caregiver with a gift card, free hair cut, refreshments, and a gift bag with goodies.
Please join us and assist with sorting and organizing our donations/supplies for our event.
When: Thursday, June 1
Time: 3-5pm
Location: Kids & Families Together, 864 E. Santa Clara St., Ventura. Enter from the back door of our building. You can park in the back parking lot, in any parking stall. Enter from Kalorama St., one-way drive way and look for our van.
Requirement: we are seeking volunteers who can lift/carry 25+ pounds, bend, stoop, twist, and go up and down stairs. We are also looking for volunteers who can stand or sit and sort/organize clothing, etc. Please be mindful of what you can help with and we will make accommodations.
Please sign in upon arrival.
You will need to sign our liability waiver and photo/video release if you are a new volunteer or have not signed one yet since July 1, 2022.
Please wear close-toed shoes.
Bring a refreshment or snack of your choice (nonalcoholic). We will also provide drinks and snacks.
Restrooms onsite.
