Please join us for our Community Shred Event! All are welcome to attend – bring your papers to shred! This is a public event and the City Clerk’s office is looking for volunteers to help run this event.
This event takes place at PVRPD, Community Center 1605 Burnley Street, on August 14th, 8:30 am to noon.
In helping with this event, volunteers will arrive at the PVRPD Parking Lot by 7:30 am. They will retrieve boxes and bags of paper from the vehicles and empty them into shred bins. It’s not too strenuous, but it is 5+ hours on your feet, moving paper. The event runs from 8am to noon and we are typically finished with clean up by 1:00 p.m. Volunteers will receive volunteer hours (typically for student volunteers) and Access and the City will provide waters, snacks, and pizza lunch. We need about 20 volunteers.
