Bike Rodeo & Give~Away Event
Kids & Families Together, with Bike Ventura and Ventura CHP, is seeking volunteers to help at our upcoming Bike Rodeo & Give~Away event on June 19th.This event is for foster/resource, kinship, adoptive and birth families we serve. Children will receive bike instruction & safety, receive a free helmet, bike check, ride around a course & take a ride around the neighborhood. We will also be having a bike drawing and providing a treat bag!
The event will take place on Saturday, June 19th from 10am - 1pm at Crosspointe Church, 5415 Ralston St., Ventura.
Volunteer Schedule
8:30am Set-Up: We need your help setting up the event with canopies/tables/chairs and our donations/bikes.
10am -1pm Event: Seeking support during the event and help with break-down. Volunteers to help children with learning to ride a bike, developing skills, kids' activity area, and handing out the grab bags. We also need help breaking down the event.
Tasks may involve lifting and organizing supplies/donations and setting up booths with tables, canopies. Please know your physical limits and be mindful of how you would like to help.
K&FT is following the CDC regulations for COVID-19 with wearing a mask, social distancing and gloves/hand sanitizer will be available.
