Here are a few opportunities, including the first two volunteer roles which work remotely from home.
1) List Taker: Volunteers to follow up on requests. We estimate it takes approx. 15 minutes to contact a senior over the phone and take their shopping order. Volunteers will receive an excel sheet with seniors to call and a fillable form to email back to the CAREGIVERS office. Let us know how much time you have to share.
2) Shop and Drop Volunteers: Following best practices around COVID-19, assignments may include shopping or pick-up for one or more homebound seniors. Payment arrangements are made in advance. Drop off on the porch. Valid California Drivers License and Insurance required.
