The Community Emergency Response Team class needs volunteers to pretend to be victims in a disaster. The final day of the training class includes a drill in which victims need to be rescued and treated.
Volunteers will be given injury make-up and placed in a scenario where trainees must rescue and treat them. After the drill you can wash off the make up!
Please wear old clothes since they may get dirty or stained. For your safety, volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and bring a warm sweater in case you are waiting in a cool, shady area before the drill occurs.
For volunteers aged 15-17, the parent or guardian must sign a waiver, and remain onsite during the volunteer period.
