Assisted Home Health and Hospice Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to participate in our Ballgame Bus Blowout fundraiser on September 22nd. This event will involve taking a bus from one of our pick-up locations and hosting the entertainment for all attendees during the drive to Dodger Stadium and back. We are looking for a volunteer who is energetic and able to perform all essential functions for this event. Here are some of the responsibilities and tasks that the volunteer needs to be able to perform:
- Serving and refilling beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
- Serving food
- Hosting the onboard games
- Providing entertainment in between games
- Assists Foundation team members with tasks assigned
- Reports any problems or complaints to Executive Director and/or Assistant Project Coordinator
- Assume responsibility and display reliability for the completion of all tasks, duties, communication, and actions
- Abide by Agency policy and procedures
- Accept other duties as assigned
Volunteer must be able to appear at Ventura location before 3:00 pm and event should conclude around 11:00pm. Volunteer must be 21 years old or older, and MUST be a Baseball lover!
*Due to the limited tickets available, we cannot guarantee Assisted will be able to provide admissions to the game. Also, volunteers may not consume any alcoholic beverages during the course of the event.
