Come join us for our Third Annual Disaster Preparedness Fair in Oxnard!
Learn how to can food, safely store water, put out small fires, and much more about disaster preparedness.
Volunteers are needed for 3 different tasks:
- Set up 8:30 am to 10 am: (10 to 15 people)
- Get tables, chairs, and pop-ups out of storage
- Set up tables, chairs, and pop-ups
- Assist partner agencies with booth set-up
- Help run the fair 10 am to 3 pm: (18 or more people)
- Training on the material will be provided beforehand
- Help run the booths
- Assist with partner agencies
- Help direct people through the event
- Translate questions and answers (if fluent in multiple languages)
- Break down 3 pm to 4 pm (ish): (10-15 People)
- Break down booths
- Help move the tables, chairs, and pop-ups back into to storage
