First Aid / Medical Support
Join us for the 25th anniversary of Bike MS: Los Angeles Coastal Challenge, an inspiring two day ride along the beautiful California coastline. On May 30 and May 31, 2026, cyclists will travel from Malibu up through Ventura, Rincon, and Ojai, covering more than 150 miles as they raise funds and awareness to support people living with multiple sclerosis. This milestone year brings together riders, volunteers, families, and the community for an unforgettable weekend filled with energy, purpose, and celebration.
As a First Aid and Medical Support volunteer, you will play an essential role in keeping our participants safe throughout the event. First Aid Volunteers may be CPR or First Aid certified individuals, and do not need to be licensed medical professionals, although EMTs, EMS personnel, RNs, and other trained professionals are always welcome. Volunteers help administer basic first aid, support rider well‑being, and provide a calm, steady presence for anyone who may need medical attention.
Medical volunteers may be stationed at the start and finish line, at rest stops, or at designated points along the route. This role is perfect for someone who is attentive, supportive, and comfortable assisting participants with minor injuries or health needs during the ride. All volunteers in this role will be provided with guidance on expectations and procedures for the weekend.
Come join us for this special 25th anniversary year and help ensure our riders have a safe and successful journey along the coast.
