One of the Mountain Fire survivors is looking for assistance this weekend with a project to protect their lot, as they prepare to rebuild. Can you help, all or part of the time? Please see description below:
"We need help putting sand in sandbags and staging the sandbags on the side of the road.
We have sandbags and a few shovels. We need more shovels if our volunteers can bring some. We can start this Saturday and this project may take two days depending on the number of people available.
We do not have a restroom on site but there is a plaza just five minutes away and we can provide transportation for restroom breaks. We will be happy to cover water and lunch. Please let us know if this weekend works for everyone. We are grateful for your help."
