We are going to meet at the OVLC office at 9:00am on Saturday, March 31.
Getting to the meeting place: The OVLC office is located at 370 W Baldwin Rd, building A4. If you enter the address into Apple or Google maps, there is a chance the directions will take you up Rice Rd behind our complex, which is a part of the old Honor Farm. From the corner of Rice Rd and Baldwin Rd, head southwest on Baldwin Rd and take the first left where you will see signs for Help of Ojai and Ed's Recycling. After turning off of Baldwin Rd, turn right to go through the gate and then we are in the back of the complex so follow the signs for Ojai Valley Land Conservancy and/or call Brendan if you need assistance (805-212-0445).
What to bring: Closed-toed shoes are required for this project. Additionally, please bring snacks and water. It is recommended that you also bring:
- Gloves
- Pants
- Long sleeve shirt
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunblock)
* You should expect to get dirty, so don't wear nice clothes!
What we will be doing: We will be restoring areas of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy that have been damaged by the Thomas Fire. Be ready for a day of gardening, being outdoors, and meeting like-minded volunteers!
