Who We Are

Mission: To protect and restore the natural landscapes of the Ojai Valley forever.

The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy (OVLC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the natural landscapes of the Ojai Valley in California. Founded in 1987, OVLC has protected nearly a third of the Ventura River and manages approximately 2,600 acres of open space, providing habitat for wildlife such as mule deer, mountain lions, and the California quail. The organization offers public access to 2,000 acres of open space, underscoring its significant role in creating and maintaining areas for community enjoyment.
