This Workshop is free. Lunch and all training materials will be provided free of charge. Free tutor training is offered to adults who would like to learn to tutor adults who want to learn or improve their English. We offer free materials for the tutor and their adult learners. We provide a lunch, snacks, and beverages at the tutor training. No prior teaching or tutoring experience is required. You do not need to know a foreign language to be an English language tutor.
Tutoring is a wonderful experience. You can make a difference in someone's life by tutoring them in English and introducing American culture. The tutoring is arranged between the tutor and the adult learner matched through Laubach Literacy, with hours and locations arranged by mutual convenience.
