The Alzheimer’s Association California Central Coast Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties. They offer a range of free services, including educational programs, support groups, and care consultations, to enhance the quality of life for those impacted by dementia.
The California Central Coast Chapter provides a variety of free services to support those affected by dementia:
Education Programs: They offer in-person and virtual educational sessions to increase knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Support Groups: The chapter facilitates support groups for caregivers and individuals living with dementia, providing a space to connect and share experiences.
Care Consultations: They provide personalized care consultations to assist families in developing effective care plans.
