Who We Are

Mission: To end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

The Alzheimer’s Association California Central Coast Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties. They offer a range of free services, including educational programs, support groups, and care consultations, to enhance the quality of life for those impacted by dementia.

What We Do

The California Central Coast Chapter provides a variety of free services to support those affected by dementia:

  • Education Programs: They offer in-person and virtual educational sessions to increase knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

  • Support Groups: The chapter facilitates support groups for caregivers and individuals living with dementia, providing a space to connect and share experiences.

  • Care Consultations: They provide personalized care consultations to assist families in developing effective care plans.
