Who We Are
Habitat partners with families in need and offers them a ‘hand-up’ through home ownership. Our Habitat Home Repair program offers support to low-income homeowners in need of home repairs, including: paint & landscaping, ramps & accessible showers, window & roof replacements, and electrical repair for safety. Most of our homeowner-clients are seniors, disabled and/or veterans.
The ReStore is a discount home improvement store that sells building materials, appliances and furniture. The proceeds from our Simi & Oxnard ReStores support the work we do in Ventura County. We have many different volunteer opportunities: new home construction, Habitat Home Repair, ReStore shifts, playhouse prep, event support, office & administrative work, and committees.
What We Do

- Habitat Home Repair – home repair and maintenance for low-income, disabled, senior, and veteran homeowners
- ReStores – we accept donations of home decor, building materials, and furniture and then sell them to raise funds for our programs
- Hold special events and fundraisers throughout the year: Hearts & Hammers Dinner & Auction, Women Build, Playhouse Build Blitz
