Who We Are

Mission: To strengthen the capacity of uninsured working poor individuals and their families in Ventura County to thrive by providing free healthcare and health supporting services, meeting their immediate needs, and serving as a training site for students to explore careers in healthcare.

Westminster Community Care Center, also known as Westminster Free Clinic, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free healthcare services to uninsured and low-income individuals in Ventura County, California. Established in 1993, the clinic operates multiple locations, including Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, and Santa Paula, offering a range of medical, dental, vision, and mental health services. The center is staffed by volunteer medical professionals and local high school students, fostering community engagement and support.

What We Do

Westminster Community Care Center offers a comprehensive array of services to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the community. These include primary medical care, mental health services, ophthalmology, dental care, wellness programs, preventative care, health advocacy, and chronic disease management. Additionally, the center provides community outreach initiatives and specialized programs such as the Diabetic Specialty Clinic and the Cancer Prevention Program.
