Who We Are
Mission: To provide tools and resources that enhance the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
UCAAN focuses on helping cancer patients directly through education, resources, support, inspiration, a personal fundraising program and so much more. Our clients are anyone with any form of cancer, any age nationwide. We have a BIG GOAL we want to reach and we can with YOUR TIME and DEDICATION. Our Goal? To Be The LARGEST Financial Assistance Organization for cancer patients in the country. To date we have helped over 11,000 cancer patients NATIONWIDE.
Since we are a smaller local organization in Moorpark, we are able to help survivors on a more personal level. UCAAN also provides gifts of hope to cancer survivors and their families which include handmade candle holders, plaques – in memory of and in support of, greeting cards & more! Long term goals include offering financial assistance to patients for the side effects caused by treatments: chiropractic care, dental care, gym memberships and other financial help
What We Do
We focus on ways that we can decrease the stress of someone’s cancer diagnosis through a variety of programs. We provide customized resources based on patient need nationwide, no matter what form of cancer or their age. We don’t discriminate. We also have a preventative dental care program to teach patients how to prevent the dental deterioration that is common for those going through cancer treatments. We also provide inspiration, gifts of hope, a personal fundraising program, one on one healthy cooking and eating information (locally) and much more.
