What We Do
With a mission rooted in Christian values, the Ventura Corps offers a variety of programs aimed at alleviating suffering, restoring dignity, and empowering individuals to improve their quality of life. We operate a year round family transitional living center for families and single women. Our Transitional Living Center provides housing, counseling, and case management for up to 45 individuals. Usually about half of these are children. In addition we operate a food pantry 3 days a week where we assist with food for individuals and families. We provide clothing vouchers for individuals looking for work.
