Who We Are

Mission: To preserve, operate, and maintain the Camarillo Ranch as an historic site in partnership with our public and private sectors, on a self-sustaining basis.

The Foundation works to make the Camarillo Ranch a prominent Ventura County venue for community events, house tours, school field trip tours, movies, and photo shoots. We strive to foster its place in the rich history of California in partnership with public and private sectors, on a self-sustaining basis. All revenue earned from events benefits the maintenance and preservation of this historic property.

What We Do

The Foundation is working to make the Camarillo Ranch a prominent Ventura County venue for community events, school field trips, and film & photo shoots. All revenue earned from events benefits the preservation and education of this historic property. Camarillo Ranch Foundation volunteers have a passion for the history of California, the Camarillo Ranch, and the legacy of Juan Adolfo Camarillo. Volunteers lead tours of the Camarillo Ranch House, conduct historical research, create archives, prepare exhibits, special projects, and help plan yearly events to further the Foundation’s mission. No former knowledge of Camarillo history required – just a desire to ensure the history lives on!
