Who We Are
Mission: To change the way the world views Down syndrome by empowering individuals and promoting acceptance and inclusion.
GiGi’s Playhouse Simi Valley is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free therapeutic, educational, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. As the 60th location in the GiGi’s Playhouse network, it serves the Simi Valley community by offering a variety of programs designed to empower individuals with Down syndrome and promote acceptance and inclusion.
What We Do
Services Provided:
- Therapeutic Programs: Offering speech, occupational, and physical therapy sessions tailored to the needs of individuals with Down syndrome.
- Educational Programs: Providing tutoring, literacy, and math programs to support academic growth and development.
- Career Development: Assisting with job readiness training, resume building, and employment opportunities to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
- Community Events: Organizing social events, workshops, and support groups to foster a sense of community and belonging among families and individuals.
