Mercy House, founded in 1988 by Father Jerome T. Karcher, is dedicated to ending homelessness by providing dignified housing and supportive services to at-risk and homeless individuals across California and Arizona. Serving over 1,500 individuals annually, Mercy House addresses the unique needs of various homeless subpopulations, striving to foster economic, emotional, and spiritual well-being while upholding values of accountability, integrity, and self-sufficiency to restore dignity and self-esteem.
What We Do
Mercy House provides a variety of homeless services ranging from more emergency style services such as Outreach and Emergency Shelters to more permanent options which include Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Permanent Housing, and Residential Services.
