Who We Are

Mission: To be dedicated to meeting the needs of Oxnard’s older residents through a variety of programs and enrichment activities.

RSVP is a volunteer recruitment and placement program, helping people age 55 and older find volunteer positions that match their interests, talent and available time.  The Oxnard RSVP has almost 575 members who serve at more than 30 non-profit and public agencies in a four city area of Oxnard, Ventura, Camarillo and Pt. Hueneme. It receives an annual grant from the federal Corporation for National and Community Service and is locally a program of the City of Oxnard.

What We Do

Oxnard RSVP collaborates with about 40 non-profit and public organizations to address local issues, giving you an abundance of choices in how and where you help. RSVP strives to thoughtfully place volunteers. We seek to provide a service experience that not only impacts the world, but fosters individual growth and learning.
