We are looking for a reliable and responsible volunteer, who will work with our Executive Director with her daily activities and help with organizing her home office. The executive director wears many hats and having someone who can help get things done that she cannot, will be extremely helpful. 

The right person should have computer skills. organizing skills, filing paperwork. and a positive attitude. 

We're looking for someone who can help for 20 hours per week in Moorpark. Hours are negotiable.

We are looking for a volunteer that is an experienced grant writer that has a passion for helping those with cancer. We are a 100% volunteer run, award winning, grassroots cancer org in Moorpark and our focus is on helping cancer patients locally and nationwide.

We received a grant in 2014 from Kaiser Permanente for our preventative dental program, but we are looking to apply for more grants to offer more programs.

If you're up for the challenge and have a heart for what we're doing, we'd love to add you to our team!

We're currently looking for volunteers to help at our office to not only help prepare for our upcoming events, but also to help with our clientele. Someone who is Retired is preferable, that would love to dedicate their extra time to a wonderful cause!

We're looking to fill a few volunteer spots which include:

* An office assistant to help the Executive Director

* Someone who can help us run our holiday gift wrapping spot(s) in Westlake Village, possibly Camarillo. 

* A Resource Specialist (we provide training)

* A Program Assistant to help manage and run programs through the organization efficiently (some training provided).

Someone with great communication skills is vital, reliable transportation, knowledge about using computers and the internet. Phone skills a big plus.

The more time you have to get involved the better! Shifts are minimum of 2 hours. But we are looking for someone available at least 4 hours/day, 5 days a week. When the holiday gift wrapping season happens, we would need someone who is dependable and reliable, who has the time to help with 8 hour shifts Fri-Sun. :) Ability to work well with others is vital!

UCAAN: United Cancer Advocacy Action Network is a Grassroots, Award Winning Cancer Organization that focuses on the needs of cancer patients and bridging the gap for patients as opposed to focusing on research. With the new year here, we are looking to add more driven people to our board. 

If you understand the Importance in Helping those with cancer, as opposed to the common focus of research, then we want you!

We'd also love to have a commercial real estate person on our board to help us obtain an office to do our vital work.
