Looking for something meaningful to do this summer? Join our new BRITE Futures Initiative (BFI) Youth Coalition for Open Studio Hours! A space where youth ages 12 - 18 in Ventura County can create advocacy projects and make their voices heard. Whether you’re interested in film, animation, writing, acting, art, or leadership, we’re here to support you in bringing your ideas to life. Projects can be used for community service or just to make an impact! When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12–1pm Where: Zoom Sign up at: brite.link/BFI Students can also earn a $50 stipend and take on leadership roles by becoming a Project Leader! You'll get support and training to gather a team and manage a project from start to finish. Email us if you're interested or want to schedule studio time at Kyra@briteyouth.org. This opportunity is open to Ventura County residents ages 12 - 18 ONLY. Residents of Simi Valley, Santa Paula, and Fillmore are strongly encouraged to join us!

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity for school or your resume, or just to get more involved in your community? Do you want to make a difference while developing your skills? BRITE is seeking volunteers of all ages to help us with community outreach and education. Help BRITE reach more of our community by supporting tables with activities and prevention resources at health and resource fairs across Ventura County. Orientation and training will be provided. Make a difference in your community and have fun while doing it! We are interested in working with individuals as well as with groups. All hours will count towards volunteer or community service hours.
