We are in search of medical support for our upcoming event, Aut2Run. Volunteers should be able to treat minor medical issues (i.e. scrapes, twisted ankles, etc.), but it would be great if the volunteer were trained of a higher medical standard. We will have an ambulance on-site to help with any major medical issues.
Aut2Run is an annual charity race and the largest Autism Resource Fair in Ventura County. Each year in April, Autism Society Ventura County organizes an annual 1 Mile/5K/10K Race and Autism Resource Fair co-sponsored by CSU, Channel Islands. The event is attended by over 3,000 people and helps raise awareness AND acceptance for children and adults with Autism and their families. Donations benefit services and support for local kids and families.
