Advancing Parenting needs members of the community, at least two, to sit on our board of directors.
Advancing Parenting is a small nonprofit organization pioneering a new kind of parenting education...one that reaches everyone, everywhere, all the time. We place fifty-one concise and unambiguous parenting tips/advice in public spaces, including but not limited to windows of stores, offices, restaurants, automobiles, and billboards. This, in an effort to elevate the quality of parenting, prevent adverse childhood experiences (ACES), and improve educational outcomes for children. We meet once per year in the fall and meetings take about thirty minutes.
Please consider this opportunity. Nonprofits are run by boards. Without a board Advancing Parenting will have to close its doors.
