Kids & Families Together is seeking volunteers to help at our upcoming Cozy Holiday Gift~ Away, Winter Wonderland event for foster/resource, kinship, adoptive and birth families we serve on December 11th from 11:30am -2pm.
LOCATION CHANGE,
The event will now be at Kids & Families Together, 864 E. Santa Clara St., Ventura (in the back parking lot). Please park on the street.
We will be providing each child with new toys, pajamas as available, blankets and more! There will be a photo opportunity with our wonderful Santa and Mrs. Claus.
We need your help:
9am-11:30am: setting up the event-with tables, canopies, setting up the toys, pajamas, etc. and decorate for the event.
11:15am-2:30pm: during the event-distributing toys, pajamas, helping as a personal shopper, help with the photo booth, etc.
2:00-4:30pm: help with breaking down after the event-load left over donations in van/vehicles and help unload back at Kids & Families Together.
For those helping during the event, please dress in colors for our Winter Wonderland theme (white, silver, light blue, etc.)
Tasks may involve lifting and organizing supplies/donations and setting up booths with tables. Please know your physical limits and be mindful of how you would like to help.
K&FT is following the CDC regulations for COVID-19 and a mask and social distancing is required.
Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Restrooms are available on site.
