1) List Taker: Volunteers to follow up on requests. We estimate it takes approx. 15 minutes to contact a senior over the phone and take their shopping order. Volunteers will receive an excel sheet with seniors to call and a fillable form to email back to the CAREGIVERS office. Let us know how much time you have to share.
2) Shop and Drop Volunteers: Following best practices around COVID-19, assignments may include shopping or pick-up for one or more homebound seniors. Payment arrangements are made in advance. Drop off on the porch. Valid California Drivers License and Insurance required.

At the senior's home, you will be supervising the students while they help with light housekeeping and yardword. It is the perfect opportunity to help seniors in our community and serve as a mentor for student volunteers. They can also help us keep track of how things are going with volunteers and homebound seniors they may be visiting in the community.
