Volunteer: Youth Probation ProgramsYouth Probation Programs Volunteers needed to assist with weekly Diversion Classes for youth. Classes are ordered for first time offenders and deal with topics related to offense. Volunteers will work at registration tables, set-up referral table and, be trained to conduct PowerPoint presentations to youth and parents referred by Ventura County Probation Agency. Topics at both locations are: Substance Abuse, Violence Prevention, Property Crimes, Graffiti Vandalism. Each youth must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Class is educational in nature. Time Commitment: Must commit to two hours weekly. Oxnard Class Thursday evenings from 5 to 7PM. Simi Valley Class Tuesday evenings 5 to 7PM.
