An opportunity to assist the Camarillo Council on Aging at the Community Document Shredding Event being held on Saturday, October 14th from 8:30 am to noon at the Camarillo Community Center’s parking lot located at 1605 Burnley Street.
Volunteers are needed to assist at the event from 7:30am – 12:30pm. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Some of the tasks the volunteers will be assisting with, based on your abilities, are:
- Setting out cones in parking lot for traffic lanes
- Direct traffic with hand signals to move through the lines
- Move boxes/bags from vehicles to the shredding truck – based on your ability to lift
- Handing out Release of Liability forms to participants
- Assist to close lanes and put away items used during event
