We are in need of a small group of well-trained, dedicated volunteers that are interested in attending outreach events with OPAC staff and eventually/potentially on our behalf. These are outside, non-OPAC run events that we will have an OPAC informational table at. We may also have a small art activity at our table to make it more engaging. In addition, we may ask you to help canvas ahead of OPAC events. Canvassing would involve taking marketing material and event flyers and bringing them to local businesses to get the word out.
Examples of upcoming events we have/will be tabling at:
- Banana Festival at the Port of Hueneme
- Multicultural Fest at Plaza Park
