Teen Art Program: Beginning Sewing Class

These will be daily classes 9am-12pm with a group of Teens (ages 13-18) working on various sewing projects. We need 1-2 volunteers to assist our art instructor with the classes and watching over the students. This is a beginner class so the volunteers will need to have sewing experience and know how to use modern sewing machines. They will need to be able to assist students in using the machines, help if the machines get jammed, etc. Additionally, having a volunteer that is bilingual is preferred but not required. If you are able to come in a little early and stay after to help with setup/cleanup, we would welcome the extra help. We would ideally like the same volunteer to assist the entire week but if you are only available certain days, we may be able to create a schedule with multiple people.
