6th Annual Worldwide Walk for Water 2023

The worldwide walk is a global call to action to raise awareness and funds for communities around the world who lack access to clean water and sanitation. During the whole month of March, groups log miles to help end the walk for water for millions around the globe. Over 2,000 people die every day from unclean water and thousands are walking an average of 4 miles a day to fetch water. Access to clean water not only saves lives, but keeps women and children in school and off a lifetime path of collecting water. Four easy steps: 1) Form and register your team at www.worldwidewalkforwater.com 2) Set a date, time and route 3) Help spread the word 4) Make a move for water and log your miles! This event virtually engages groups and individuals in their own neighborhoods. You determine where your group will walk throughout the month and how far! Many participants organize beach, neighborhood or park clean ups and log miles while they are picking up trash in their community. Funds raised will go directly to CLEAN International’s programs dedicated to the eradication of waterborne illness and an end to the daily walk for water worldwide. CLEAN International protects water through tree planting and water conservation projects and provides Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) education, water filters, treatments plants, complete systems, toilets, hygiene stations and more to communities in need around the world.
