Who We Are

Mission: To strengthen area-wide disaster coordination in the affected area by sharing information, simplifying resident access to services, and jointly addressing cases with disaster-caused recovery needs.

The Ventura County Long-Term Disaster Recovery Group (VC LTDRG) is a collaborative network of organizations dedicated to supporting residents affected by disasters in Ventura County. Their focus is on coordinating long-term recovery efforts and simplifying access to support for community members impacted by events such as the Thomas, Hill, or Woolsey Fires.

What We Do

The VC LTDRG offers a range of services and programs to assist disaster survivors:

  • Disaster Case Management: Providing personalized support to individuals and families to navigate recovery resources and develop recovery plans.

  • Resource Coordination: Collaborating with various organizations to identify and address unmet needs, ensuring efficient distribution of resources.

  • Financial Assistance: Offering financial support to help with housing, home repairs, and other essential needs during the recovery process.

  • Community Education: Providing information and guidance to help residents prepare for future disasters and understand available recovery resources.
