Mission: To create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish® Central Coast and Southern Central Valley is a regional chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Serving Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Kings, Inyo, and Tulare counties in California, the organization has been a beacon of hope since its founding in 1985. Through the collective efforts of volunteers, donors, and supporters, they have enriched the lives of thousands of children and their families by turning their most cherished dreams into reality.
What We Do
Make-A-Wish Central Coast and Southern Central Valley offers various volunteer positions, including:
- Wish Granters: Work directly with children and their families to grant wishes.
- Community Representatives: Assist with community outreach and fundraising efforts.
- Office Volunteers: Support administrative tasks and operations.
- Special Event Volunteers: Help organize and execute fundraising events.
