Who We Are

Mission: To partner with the ALS community as we drive the discovery of prevention strategies, treatments, and cures for ALS; provide access to quality care and connection; and promote initiatives to improve health outcomes.

The ALS Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in California and Hawaii. Formerly known as ALS Golden West, the organization provides comprehensive, community-based care at no cost to the ALS community. Their mission is to partner with the ALS community to drive the discovery of prevention strategies, treatments, and cures for ALS; provide access to quality care and connection; and promote initiatives to improve health outcomes.

What We Do

The ALS Network provides comprehensive, community-based care at no cost, offering assistance with communication, home safety, and travel to ALS clinics. They also offer an equipment loan program for medical equipment, emotional support services, short-term financial assistance for therapy, and bereavement support for families affected by ALS. These services aim to improve the quality of life for individuals and families living with ALS.
