Who We Are
Mission: To serve the poor and vulnerable with love, respect, and compassion, providing for their immediate needs and offering hope and support as they strive to improve their lives.
St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. As part of the international Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Los Angeles Council provides essential services to the poor, homeless, and marginalized, offering hope and practical assistance to help them improve their lives. Founded in 1908, the organization operates a range of programs that address immediate needs, such as food, shelter, and clothing, while also providing pathways to self-sufficiency through long-term support. St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles works to empower individuals by fostering dignity, respect, and compassion in everything they do.
What We Do
We help the needy become self-sufficient by providing financial and emotional support, food, clothing, furniture, appliances and resources to connect those disadvantaged to helpful resources in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Donations to our thrift stores make our work possible.
