Who We Are

Mission: To enrich the quality of life for our community by preserving and enhancing recreational opportunities, parks, and open space.

The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a service initiative in Thousand Oaks, California, that provides opportunities for older adults to engage in meaningful volunteer work in their community. The program is part of the national RSVP network, which connects seniors with volunteer opportunities that align with their skills, interests, and availability. Through RSVP, seniors can contribute to local organizations, schools, hospitals, and other community services, making a positive impact while enhancing their own sense of purpose and connection. The program fosters a spirit of volunteerism, helping older adults remain active and engaged in their communities.

What We Do

The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides seniors with a variety of volunteer opportunities, including positions in education, healthcare, food banks, and local government. Volunteers are matched with organizations and causes based on their skills, interests, and availability, allowing them to make a significant impact in their community. RSVP also offers social and educational activities for seniors to build camaraderie and support their personal growth. Additionally, the program provides resources for seniors to remain active, engaged, and informed about local volunteer opportunities and community needs. Through RSVP, seniors can make meaningful contributions while maintaining a strong sense of purpose and connection to the community.
