The VCAC seeks a student or adult volunteer to canvas the 10 incorporated cities plus the unincorporated areas of the county to document all Public Art and municipal collections. This information will be posted on the VCAC web site. If a municipality already has a comprehensive listing on their web site, for instance, a link to that site will be placed on the VCAC web site. Depending on the interest of the volunteer, a map and or tour could be developed to assist residents and visitors in viewing these cultural features.

The volunteer should have an interest in and knowledge of public art, research skills, transportation and a knowledge of the county. The volunteer can work independently communicating with the VCAC via phone or e-mail with personal or written reports to the monthly Board meetings. If the volunteer is a student, the VCAC will adhere to the guidelines established by the student's school that will allow the student to receive credit for their work.

Take Victoria Ave. exit from the 101 Freeway, following the signs to the Government Center. Cross Telephone Road and prepare to make a left turn at the next light which is Thille Street. Go one block on Thille Street and make a right turn on to County Square Drive. This portion of County Square Drive becomes a culde sac. You pass the 646 building and the turn right into the parking lot. You enter our building from the parking lot. Our office is located across the small lobby.   Nearest Bus Stop: S.
