Residents are required to attend mandatory meetings during their stay with RAIN. While residents attend meetings, staff and volunteers are responsible for watching their children. At any given time we have 25 + kids of all age ranges. During childcare they are broken down into age groups. Each volunteer will start with the babies and work their way up the age groups. Each class is one hour long in the evenings from 7-8 p.m. We are currently in need of the following:
Tuesday 1 vol. Wednesday 2 vol. Thursday 2 vol. If you love kids and want to enhance their futures, this is the place for you! It only takes one person to brighten their future.
Potential volunteers will have to pass a background check and have a current TB test (within the last 6 mos). There is a volunteer packet that has to be filled out as well. After successful completion of this process, volunteers will receive an orientation and meet the Children's Coordinator and then be scheduled to start. This opportunity is sponsored by: RAIN Project Transitional Living Center
