HOPE Corps has the following volunteer opportunities available:

    Banking On Our Future
Our BOOF program provides economic education to youth in middle and high schools. Volunteers take their expertise in financial literacy into the class rooms and teach children the basics of a managing checking and savings account, and credit and investments. Operation HOPE provides training and the curriculum.

    HOPE Coalition America
Financial Recovery Associates provide financial counseling to survivors of natural disasters like hurricane Katrina in areas of budgeting, insurance, credit and financing options. They also assist clients in the Los Angeles area who are dealing with rising interest rates and changing mortgage terms through our Mortgage Crisis Hotline.

Field volunteers distribute information about HOPE Coalition America services to disaster survivors. Call center volunteers answer the toll-free hotline to help provide survivors with the help they need in recovery.

    HOPE Centers
Volunteers can provide adult financial literacy education in areas of credit, small business technical assistance and home ownership.

    Inner City Cyber Cafes
Volunteers can provide computer education to adults and seniors at the Operation HOPE Inner City Cyber Cafes.

All volunteers must possess an aptitude for the area in which they are volunteering. Background checks are required for those wishing to volunteer for the Banking on Our Future program unless the volunteers are bonded through their respective organizations.

Operation HOPE does provide training on Operation HOPE economic education curriculum.
