For over 35 years, the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley has been to provide a positive, safe, healthy and fun environment that empowers our youth to become responsible individuals and citizens of tomorrow. It's the positive place for kids!

    Description:
The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley inspires youth to realize their full potential to become productive, responsible and caring citizens of our community by providing programs for our young members that include:

    • Character & Leadership Development
    • Education & Career Development
    • Sports, Fitness & Recreation
    • Health & Life Skills
    • The Arts

The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley offers the children in our community a safe and fun place to come during the after school hours while their parents are working where they can enjoy a variety of activities and programs, from homework assistance to sports leagues, keeping them off of the streets, or from being at home alone.

Our fees are affordable to all, with a $12 per year membership fee plus a $195 per month after school care fee that includes transportation from every elementary school and middle school in Simi Valley. If transportation is not required, the monthly fee is a mere $45. And for those that cannot afford these fees, we offer full scholarships. No child is turned away from the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley.

    History:
Established in 1970, the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley serves approximately 400 children daily, and over 10,000 children a year at our state-of-the-art facility located near beautiful Lemon Park in Simi Valley. We started in a trailer at a local elementary school with 20 members, and with the help of many friends in our community, now have a beautiful 25,000 square foot facility that we call home. We are fortunate to have many kind and generous corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers that help us continue to do wonderful things for the children and families in our community.
