Assisted Home Hospice mission is "Hands to help, hearts to care". We are a full medical hospice and we provide compassionate end of life care to our patients and their families through our quality team of hospice professionals. We embrace the whole person and their family. Their emotional, physical and spiritual needs are our primary focus.

Description:
Our goals are to enhance the quality of a dying patient's life. To emphasize the dignity and sense of peace of the individual and the strength of the family. To provide pain and symptom control, interdisciplinary care, support and counseling. To involve the patient and family to help them through illness and death, including mourning, grieving and bereavement. To educate healthcare professionals and lay people about pain and symptom control and the needs of the terminally ill patients and their families.

History:
Assisted Home Hospice has been providing hospice care to residents in Ventura County and portions of Los Angeles County since 1994. It all began when Assisted Healthcare Services was founded in 1989 by Elaine and Bill Donley to assist area hospitals with staffing needs. The organization grew as the Donleys recognized the challenges and concerns families faced when seeking appropriate at-home care for loved ones. Today, the Assisted family is proud to maintain three separate and distinct companies, Assisted Healthcare Services, Assisted Home Care and Assisted Home Hospice, enabling patients to have the continuity of care they need.
