The My Stuff Bags Foundation's mission is to provide comfort and hope to America's children in crisis, especially those suffering from abuse, neglect and abandonment through a unique program, My Stuff Bags.

    Description:
My Stuff Bags are individual duffels filled with age and gender appropriate new belongings for children entering crisis shelters and foster care with nothing of their own. The bags address the immediate physical needs (toiletries, clothing) and emotional needs (things to do, things to cling to such as toys, stuffed animal, handmade blanket) of frightened, rescued children.

    History:
Established in 1998, the My Stuff Bags Foundation has delivered over 330,000 individual duffels of new belongings to children in over 1,100 organizations in 49 states.

Donors from all across the United States collect and contribute new items for My Stuff Bags and volunteers visit our Volunteer Center in Westlake Village to prepare the bags for shipment to the children. Each child receiving a My Stuff Bag knows that lots of people care about them as they endure a difficult time in their lives.
