South Oxnard: Our goal is to reach out to the families and children of the community, by giving the children a safe place to play, participate in activities, and establish relationships that will last a life time.
Description:
Pacific Camps is a non-profit agency serving the child care needs of Ventura County (Camarillo, Oxnard, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Ventura) families since 1988. The camp runs a before and after school program and a Summer Day Camp for children ages 4-12 years. We also run a fully licensed pre-school program for children ages 3-5 years during the school year, as well as a pre-school Summer Day Camp. The school year program includes transportation to and from schools in Camarillo, Oxnard, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Ventura. We maintain a fleet of twenty-two vans, six certified school buses, and additional passenger buses.
History:
Pacific Camps began in 1988 in Camarillo and has expanded across the Ventura County Area. We have been an active part of the community for many years, offering free Carnivals, participating in the Strawberry Festival, local activities, and helping those in need by providing donated clothing, toys, and house hold items. We believe that when you give to the community, it helps others to realize the importance of reaching out to those around you who are in need. If we all work together, we can help to mend our communities and bring everyone together, working towards the same goal, "Unity".
