History:
Senior Concerns is a 32 year old private-nonprofit organization. A group of seniors organized Meals on Wheels and formed Senior Concerns, Inc. as a charitable non-profit organization. In 1978 Senior Concerns opened a day care center for frail seniors, the first in Ventura County. As the need for services grew, we launched another program called "Senior Advocates" to assist in referral and information to the senior population.
