    Logo

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes is to enhance the lives of our youth by providing them with a positive before and after school environment which includes programs that develop values, skills, good health, citizenship, character and leadership.

    Description:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes is a nonprofit organization providing nationally time-tested, proven programs offering leadership training, character development, fine arts, academic support, technology, health and fitness. We focus on serving middle school children because this is a critical juncture in a child's development; it is also, coincidentally, when childcare becomes scarce.

    History:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes was founded in 2000 and incorporated in 2001. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to provide before and after school and summer programs in specially designed facilities where children can be safe, do their homework, participate in sports, have fun and learn life skills through five core programs that help them to grow into responsible, caring adults. Here is a list of middle school sites where BGCCLV has a presence: Our Los Cerritos Club opened in 2004; our Colina Club opened June 2007; our Redwood and Sequoia Clubs are currently running programs out of portable buildings which opened in August 2007. We have exciting plans underway to open new Clubs in the Las Virgenes Unified School District on the campuses of A.E. Wright Middle School in Calabasas, CA and Lindero Canyon Middle School in Agoura Hills, CA.
